Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Ensure O/O Maintenance and Repair Program (MRP) is stable.

  • Assist Owner Operators with repairs, breakdowns, and coverages in the MRP contract.
  • Ensure work completed at Knight shop facilities meets MRP criteria and work is appropriately billed.
  • Audit and approve all repairs for Owner Operators (OO)
  • Review all maintenance repair orders charged to MRP by Knight shops or other third parties to ensure O/O is properly being charged for services performed.
  • Assist in month-end close process including the updating of MRP databases with monthly activity
  • Monitor maintenance fund balances and set up repayment plans for any negative balances.
  • Advise Owner Operators on appropriate maintenance fund allocation and managing maintenance/repairs.
  • Coordinate with Owner Operators and their respective terminal the use of a rental truck when an Owner Operator truck is down for extended repairs and ensure rental agreement is completed.
  • Dispose of any leased trucks that are deemed a total loss
  • Oversee the return equipment process and work with all shop locations and/or third party OEM's (Original Equipment Manufacturer's).
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • 2+ years experience of heavy equipment maintenance required.
  • Previous experience in warranty required.
  • Previous experience in credit, finance preferred.
  • Associates in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written and phone communication skills.
  • Must possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple assignments
  • Must be able to adapt to change is an excellent team-player.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a must, including but not limited to Excel, Word and Access.


Pay Range: $53,000.00 - $65,000.00 Annual
